鸿雁篇
鸿雁双双度雁门，相呼相唤不离群。
昼衔芦藋防矰缴，夜宿关河同梦魂。
稻粱既足江南阔，秋水增波叶微脱。
洞庭湖畔卧云沙，彭蠡矶头弄烟月。
一朝无事忽相违，一向东飞一向西。
西飞眇眇秦山曲，东去悠悠沧海湄。
秦山沧海遥相望，顾影徘徊各惆怅。
山有猩鼯与网罗，水有蛟鼍与风浪。
回头却恨不同栖，辛苦皆因独自飞。
不问天南与天北，何时相见得同归。
This is the translation of the poem:
The wild geese fly together through the Yanmen Pass, calling out to each other, never straying from the flock. During the day, they hide in芦藋 to avoid being hunted, and at night, they rest by the river, sharing dreams.
With enough rice and grain in the vast south, autumn waters bring more waves and the leaves are slightly falling. They rest on the cloud-covered sand by Dongting Lake, play on the misty moon at Pengli Bay.
But one day, without any apparent reason, they suddenly part ways. One flies east while the other flies west. The one flying west disappears into the distant Qin mountains, while the other floats towards the vast sea on the east.
The Qin mountains and the vast sea look at each other from a distance, each lost in their own thoughts and surrounded by their own challenges. The mountains have snares and traps, while the sea has dragons and monsters, with constant risks of wind and waves.
Looking back, they regret not being able to share the same nest. All the hardship is because they fly alone. No matter in the south or north, their only comfort is when they can meet again and return together.
